The RockHound application consolidates a range of RockHounding resources into a user-friendly format, divided into four distinct sections. The app boasts an extensive database featuring over 160 locations and more than 60 types of rocks and gems, complete with full-screen imagery. Moreover, it allows users to customize their experience by adding personal sites and discoveries, all without the interruption of advertisements or in-app purchases.

Users are encouraged to enrich this section by documenting their personal findings, complete with tailored descriptions and photographs.</li>
 <li>TIPS: The app offers general guidance on RockHounding practices, essential tools, and rock tumbling techniques. Additionally, it provides valuable insights on maximizing the app’s functionalities for an enhanced user experience.</li>
 <li>FAVORITES: Users can designate specific sites as favorites, with the option to attach images from their Photo Library or capture new ones directly through the app’s camera function. This feature facilitates personalized tracking of discoveries at each location. The Favorites section is particularly powerful, allowing users complete discretion over the documentation and visual representation of their selected sites.</li>
